angeloudied: Thanks for the good news Azaad, I was worried for a bit, but somehow hopeful it was technical in nature. I may wait for a day or so before trying to register, as there still seems to be a kink or two to iron out (the registration image doesn't load for me).

And without this verification registering is not possible. I guess this new forum software doesn't like my old system (Win98, IE5.5)!? I have the same problem. I use Firefox 3.5.8 under Win XP sp2. PS: Same thing with Opera 10.5 and IE 7.

chicharon: i did a painless registration using my handle here .... the new site looks really cool, although for a while i had the feeling i was alone out there. that's why i opened a tab to straddle both sites.
