How to use Triple brain in Playchess
Renegat23: By omprakash Since the realese of Deep Shreeder GUI which is one of my favorites for 2 things, Triple Brain and Shredder bases i have used Triple brain in book making since. In The new DS12 GUI it has been Enhanced as i have observed its A nice experimental idea to use it in Play chess server in specially long games. This is how you do it . 1.Download my so called TripleBrain engine http://www.mediafire.com/?2dhmzmiwo2n Mirror: http://rapidshare.com/files/296070851/Triple_Brain.7z 2. Open Fritz 11 or Fritz 9 GUI and install Wb2uci as engine . Dont Close GUI. 3. Triple Brain will be loaded as engine. 4. Now open Deep Shredder GUI then in Mode activate triple brain. It will ask for one Engine .Load Rybka as 2nd engine. Give Proper hash size i give 128 mb for 1 cores. 5. Now Go to mode/Computer vs Computer/Autoplayer and u will See this . Give Settings as Shown. Remember Shredder is slave and autoplayer is set to run on networks no need to use com ports for these and opponent is Fritz 11 6. Now Quickly Open Fritz 11/Fritz 9 then load Triple Brain As engine Give hash 1 mb. Disable using tablebases as it will be uses in Shredder GUI. 7. After Triple brain is loaded Press F4 and disable using Book in Fritz GUI. It increase GUI. AS Shredder books will be used in If u want to use ctg book then u have to disable book in shreddder GUI in options/book. 8. Bravo Triple brain Configured!!!! . Now minimize the Guis to get clear View of both GUIs . Now start playing some moves to see if its configured properly or not. And you will see it works. . You can Run engine vs Engine matches and see if it works fine the way you do in fritz. 9. Similarly u can load this engine in Playchess server and Start playing. The most important thing is to Adjust time for playing. If you have set to play 16 + 2 in PCC then configure Shreeder GUI to play 15 + 3 or like wise or else U may loose in Time U can experiment on those . Now happy Chessing. Regards Om

If you use it you will need null modem cable/ com ports . Winboard 232d.exe supports pipe command ( that's why you see -pipe in the command line ) so it does not need this . It's in here because it was in the original archive winboard232cd.zip plus Wb2Uci.zip See more here EDIT: Sorry . I was viewing the new posts only and missed Master Om's post . Azaad: Fruit You can use it to play ( in Fritz ) any engine whose GUI supports Autoplayer . It's particularly easy if the GUI's autoplayer has "network" option because then you can use v 232d without any need for null modem cable and com ports . Here "network" is used for connecting two applications on your computer to each oher .

Azaad: Master Om I meant sorry for replying to Fruit's question when it was actually addressed to you and when you had earlier welcomed queries . I had no business butting in and I wouldn't have done so but for the misunderstanding as I explained earlier .
